2025 Show Schedule
Seminars
- Larry Toliver
- Saturday, January 11, 9am to noon
Cost: $35 Larry will have an E9th seminar this year. It will be mostly mid-level in player skill, but a little bit advanced. Everyone should be able to learn and play this song with some practice and dedication to technique.
The featured song will be "Four in The Morning", a Faron Young tune. It is not too fast, with well-thought-out licks to develop your timing, touch, and overall ability to sound nice and in tune. Tablature will be offered for both melody and improvisation. This tune is a waltz, and should flow smoothly and reflect your bar hand, and you should be able to work on classic pick hand grips which will help you now, as well as down the road. All great players usually have at least one waltz in their set at the shows.
Also covered will be Lloyd Green's "Hogan's Dream". Larry will be joined by guest teacher Travis Toy. Video recording is allowed.
Larry looks forward to seeing you at the class. You can contact him at 325.518.3947 (cell) or tliver1956.com.
To register in advance for this seminar, you can send a note and payment to PO Box 1129, Globe, AZ 85502. You can also register at the show.
$5.00 of each student's fee will go to support the SWSGA.
Ticket prices
Tickets for the 2025 show will be $35.00 per day. There will not be an early registration discount. You may purchase tickets at the door, or mail in your payment to Peggy Porter at SWSGA, P.O. Box 1192, Globe, AZ 85502.
Note: All items for the silent auction, raffles and sales were donated, and all proceeds will be used to fund the show and future club events. All donors names will be posted on the Donation Board at the show reception desk.
